AudioGuru is a very useful utility that reveals and extracts information from an audio track. Almost all popular audio formats are supported. It reveals really advanced information from audio files. AudioGuru finds useful details such as compression level, sample rate, bitrate, encoder version, etc. It also calculates the uncompressed file size of the audio track which can be used later for comparison purposes. There are two modes which can be used, file and folder mode. In file mode only a single file is analysed while in folder mode all the files in the folder are analyzed, a great feature altogether. Besides audio track information, AudioGuru also shows Meta Data stored in the from of ID3 Tags. This Meta Data which can contain cover art, picture, text can be extracted and saved on the hard disk. For quick access AudioGuru can be integrated into the Explorer context menu from the options window. The output window shows all the errors and warnings that occurred while reading the audio track. |
